Dr. Andrew Krause is a naturopathic doctor, certified strength and conditioning coach, and certified sports nutritionist. With experience across his three fields of study, he brings a comprehensive skillset to patients seeking improved performance.
Andrew works with people that are looking to improve their sport performance and work performance through prevention and recovery from illness and injury. He uses trigger point acupuncture, nutrition, supplements, and physical therapy to get his patients to their best performance possible.
Along with his interest in sports and performance medicine, Dr. Krause also has a strong interest in diabetes management, weight loss, pain management, mental health, and cognitive health. He currently manages sports nutrition with several sports teams at Ridley College in St. Catharines, and is on the education team at Vineland Estates Winery.
Andrew graduated from The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and received the NSA Honour Award at convocation in recognition of his positive impact on the student body over his four years at the college. In his final year at the college, he treated patients on the Sports Medicine Focus Shift, where he worked with a variety of athletes in the clinic and on off-site events, and received extra education in sports nutrition and sports therapy.
Andrew is an avid rock climber, and triathlete, and has practiced yoga since 2009. He has raced in 10k's, half marathons, marathons, triathlons and a half ironman across his athletic career.
